Bill Chatwin writes
"Happy New Year everyone from Fusebox. Our Spring/Summer Programme begins officially at the end of January (more on that soon) but we have a surprise gig, this Saturday 9th January at the Fox and Newt, Leeds.
A new collective band MOLE are in Leeds this week, writing and recording and have decided to premier their new material for Fusebox.
MOLE is a brand new Anglo/Irish/Norwegian collaboration between the LIMA-compadres Christophe de Bezenac (saxophones), Petter Frost Fadnes (saxophones), Dave Kane (bass) and Paul Hession (kit). MOLE represents the unexpected, the uncanny, the ambiguous, and searches the dark undercurrents of sonic possibilities in their pursuit of righteousness, peace and good music. MOLE refutes categorisation at all costs, infiltrating musical genres through sheer discretion and wit.
So, if you are suffering with the post Christmas, New Year blues then come and be uplifted with MOLE and be among the first to hear their new work.
The indomitable, Chris Sharkey, will be providing support with a solo set.
