Joe Morris Quartet
"We've now got an absolute cracker of a gig booked for the Sunday night 6 December - the only UK appearance by the Joe Morris Quartet (Joe on guitar, Mat Maneri viola, Chris Lightcap bass, Gerald Cleaver drums). The band is on a European tour and is literally flying to Newcastle from the Netherlands and then flying back to Germany.
I can't resist feeling pretty chuffed about this - it seems that Jazz North East's reputation is so high that Joe insisted he wanted a Newcastle gig. Here are the details:
