Cleethorpes JazzFest taster...

"Excitement is rising with the near completion of the line up for Cleethorpes Jazz Festival on 24th to 26th June 2016.

Alan Barnes has been commissioned to write a suite of music based on Grimsby’s fishing industry, which will be premiered at the Festival with an amazing octet, involving musicians from London, Manchester, Wales and our very own Lincolnshire.

Other artists on the bill include Alan Barnes/Gilad Atzmon Quintet, Dave Newton Quartet, Jam Experiment, Doncaster Youth Jazz Orchestra, Roger Beaujolais Quartet, Vein, Matt Skelton Allstars Septet, Sue Richardson’s Too Cool the Life & Music of Chet Baker, Janet Seidel Trio, and the Pat McCarthy /Chuck Morgan Trio.
