Don't forget the following jazz-at-heart events at Heart, Headingley, in Leeds:

May 1st Monthly jam session in cafe 7.30 - 10.30 
May 8th - 10th Improve your Improv weekend at Dalesbridge (see below)
May 16th Louise Gibbs Quartet Doors 7.30
June 13th Sam Watts - jazz piano recital/talk
July 25th Simon Read Octet - doors 7.30
August 3rd - 6th Summer School at Heart (book soon - filling up fast!)

Here's the information about the Improve your Improv weekend  at Dalesbridge May 8th - 10th :

If you are - or know of - an (adult) learner of jazz who you think would benefit from a crazy weekend of jazz tuition from the amazing trio of Matt Roberts, Sam Watts and Sam Gardner, please put them in touch with me. May 8th - 10th in wonderful Yorkshire Dales. We currently don't have a drummer (who could learn so much from Sammy G)or any alto players, though all instrumentalists are welcome... Only £250 and a chance not to be missed:)

There’s also the possibility to attend just for the Saturday (breakfast till evening gig) for £100 if that’s more suited to people’s budgets and lives..
