Many thanks from all jazz lovers to Gill Wilde who has run the monthly jazz club in Grimsby for many years - and also ran the Cleethorpes Jazz Festival - a brilliant effort. With Gill moving away from the area, the regular Jazz Club at Grimsby will finish as a monthly club in May – from now on it will only do specific projects. The final regular date of the club is the Pat McCarthy Quartet:

A great lead up to Cleethorpes Jazz Festival (1-3 June) this same weekend and what better way to start it than a special night with our own Pat McCarthy on guitar with Warren Jolly bass, Thom Whitworth Trumpet and Shannon Reilly vocals. This band has recorded two CDs and toured extensively to great acclaim.
