Many people ask the best way to get started learning jazz as a beginner. For jazz beginners this beautiful style of music can seem intimidating and hard to tackle. Don’t worry though. You’re not alone! This 2-hour workshop will help beginners and less experienced musicians on their own path to growth. Bring your instrument along and let’s get to learning! Suitable for young people aged over 11 (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult) Tickets £8 (under 25’s £6) here

Everyone can improvise! Want to have a go? Well here’s your chance. You'll be able to try out playing tuneful jazz improvisations on an array of percussion and keyboard instruments in these sessions led by Leeds keyboard maestro and jazz educator Dave Evans. Age: 11+ years (Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult) Each session is 45 minutes long. Tickets cost £8 (under 25’s £6)
