Latest artists to join Northern Line roster

"I am excited to be able to share with northern jazz promoters the latest artists to join the northern line roster.

Selected by an independent panel of musicians, promoters and industry experts, Round 4 of the scheme represents the breadth of diverse styles and musical talent living and performing in the north.

This edition ranges from a solo improvising 'cellist to a highly danceable funk/soul/Hip Hop 9 piece band playing original compositions.

The northern line Round 4 roster is

• Maja Bugge solo
• Portmanteau
• Taupe
• The Jamie Brownfield Quartet
• The Pat McCarthy Quartet featuring Shannon Reilly
• Tom Rivière's Family Band

The Round 4 artists are available for gigs between September 1st 2016 and December 31st 2017 with a subsidy towards their performance fee from northern line. Artists can be contacted now via the contact form on the website and applications for subsidy can be made via the booking form at www.jazznorth.org from 1st May 2016.
