Gale-force energy plus startlingly original material has won them dozens of awards during their six years, including Jazz Ensemble of the Year in the 2014 Parliamentary Jazz Awards. With influences from Ellington through Loose Tubes to Radiohead, their vivid ideas and brilliant mood changes have redefined the big band for the twenty first century.
