A great band to start a new series of monthly nights of Jazz at Moon on the Water. Starting on Thursday 22nd November 2018 there is the
Nigel Price Organ Trio + Vasilis Xenopoulos saxophone
A return visit to the area by one of the finest jazz guitarist in Britain. A blend of flowing bebop lines, deep blues feeling and mastery of chording has made Nigel instantly accessible and popular with jazz audiences. The trio won ‘Best Small Group’ 2017 British Jazz Awards, and 2010 Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Nigel won ‘Best Guitarist’ in 2016, and Hammond Organ player Ross Stanley ‘Best Miscellaneous Instrument’ at the British Jazz awards. Completing the trio will be Winston Clifford on drums and the amazing Vasilis Xenopoulos on saxophone.
