Vocalist Alice Higgins fronts an intimate chamber jazz group playing fresh, swinging takes on the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis and Michael Jackson, as well as their own songs all in a warm, relaxed vein. The Leeds-based outfit comprises Alice on vocals with Will Blackstone (trumpet), Conall Mulvenna (guitar) and Roz Macdonald (bass). Sponsored by Northern Line. £5

Jamil Sheriff’s Rafe's Dilemma
Inspired by Bolton playwright Bill Naughton, Rafe’s Dilemma depicts the emotional story of the play 'Spring and Port Wine’, its characters, family dynamic and political backdrop. Mixing improvised  music and original songs this is an exciting set of music that takes you on a real journey. Adams, Kemp & Gordon
Another chance to savour classic jazz standards from 'The Great American Songbook' by superb vocalist Rich Adams with Dave Kemp (saxophones), Mark Gordon (keyboards), Bob Walker (bass)  and Tom Townsend (drums). £5
