Derek Hook has been running music concerts in Ambleside for many years and it was on his piano that John Taylor composed his famous suite “Ambleside Days”.

‘Ambleside Days’ was a special commission by Zeffirellis in collaboration with Northern Arts
featuring the late, great John Taylor, one of the worlds most gifted jazz pianists.

What makes this festival unique will be the collaborative interaction between these world class performers. There will be fluid movement of the musicians into different and exciting new groupings: duo’s, trios, septets etc.

Each evening there will be two major performances in the auditorium and also in the Jazz Bar.

Tickets are £30.00 per evening in the auditorium to include both performances. Please click here to book tickets online You can book your tickets now on the Ambleside Days website.http://www.amblesidedays.co.uk/book-tickets-2/
