Fresh from sell out shows across the US and Canada and slots at Bestival, Love Supreme and London Jazz Festival in the UK, Courtney Pine, and his critically acclaimed House of Legends set, will be the first of two headliners at Lancaster Jazz Festival 2014.
Deeply steeped in the traditions of the Caribbean, this very personal project sees Courtney Pine on soprano saxophone exclusively, and brings together musicians from Africa, the Caribbean and Europe. Expect an exhilarating mix of Merengue, Ska, Mento and Calypso in the beautiful Rake Theatre of The Dukes.

Renowned band leader and virtuoso trombonist Dennis Rollins brings his latest creation to be the second headliner of Lancaster Jazz Festival in the very intimate Round Theatre. With a new album being released this summer this daring and incredibly successful endeavour features Dennis Rollins on trombone and effects, Ross Stanley on Hammond Organ and Pedro Segundo on drums.
